French Polynesia Humpback Whale & Shark Expedition
-currently not available-
Please note: as the influx of tourism activity surrounding humpback whale encounters has exploded in recent years, we are no longer offering this expedition until local regulations have adapted to the increase in demand to provide a sustainable and ethical experience for the whales. Our priority with our expeditions is animals first, always.
TAHITI & MO'OREA
From mid-July to mid-November, humpback whales are present in the warm waters of Mo'orea; they migrate from the Antarctic waters to calve and reproduce. French Polynesia is one of the few places where it is possible to swim with them and observe them directly in their realm. The calves are particularly curious and are masters at eliciting memorable emotions from guests. The primary activity for the wildlife expedition is focused on humpback whale, shark, and stingray interactions.
THIS WILDLIFE EXPEDITION WILL IMMERSE YOU IN THE RICH MARINE LIFE OF THE MOOREA REEF, LAGOON, & PELAGIC ECOSYSTEMS.
